Realizing Trump Gag Gift Necessity

Realizing Trump Gag Gift Necessity

Whether you love or hate Trump realizing Trump gag gift necessity isn’t going to change. For readers that are older lets think back to the Presidents of the past. Every President in history has been the point of a punchline. Reagan and jelly beans, or forgetting. Carter and peanuts. Nixon being a crook. Accordingly, Trumps hair.

Benefit Of Realizing Trump Gag Gift Necessity

I know many Trump supporter who felt achievement when Trump won the presidency. Alternatively I know many Clinton supporters who felt defeated. Consequently in both cases the emotional swing was immense. While the majority have moved on with daily life, it doesn’t take much to get them fired up again. Here in lies the benefit of realizing Trump gag gift necessity. Laughter is always the best medicine. Thus Trump gag gifts should be embraced by both Pro-Trump and Anti-Trump supporters, as long as you stop to realize the humorous tone. Trump himself will frequently poke fun at his humorous points. You should too. That is a lesson we can all learn from. Holding hatred isn’t going to change anything but action will.

Presidential Paper Taking Action

PresidentialPaper.com is taking action to bridge the gap. As to be expected we get lots of negative comments of social media. However each comment reinforces that we are doing the right thing. By introducing humor with Trump gag gifts, the goal is to encourage a laugh and a hug. PresidentialPaper wants people to come together more than anything else. We believe the best way is through humor and world education rather than politically fueled articles. Lets face it, if politically fueled, hate consumed information is what you are looking for, you’ll find plenty of that elsewhere.

Some Say Trump Gag Gifts Are Offensive

The only person that should take personal offense to a Trump gag gift is Donald Trump. Period. One of our favorite gag gifts is the shirt that says “If You’re Offended I’ll Help You Pack” because that phrase goes both ways. If you’re a Democrat and you’re offended I’ll help you pack. Likewise if your Republican and offended I’ll help you pack. Both side can benefit from laughing. Some of the greatest comedians of all time have been for the most part offensive. Keep in mind what people find most offensive is when deficiencies are brought to the surface. You see, then said deficiencies must be confronted.

Masking Issues With Anger

Most notably what is going on is people start masking issues with anger. When this happens there is no better time to step back and have a laugh. Especially when it is at Trumps expense. Thus the Candle with Trump Hair. As Larry the Cable Guy says, “I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there!”. America today is filled with issues that need a resolution. The best contribution Americans can make is to continue to mend differences. Thus our website. We poke fun at Pro-Trump and Anti-Trump equally. Why? Because it’s hard to be angry and laugh at the same time. And laughter ALWAYS trumps anger.

Kiss Your Privacy Goodbye!

Pigs Kissing Your Privacy Goodbye

With all of the hype of controversial topics surrounding President Trump taking office and the riot and protests that ensued you may not have noticed what happened April 3rd 2017. Kiss Your Privacy Goodbye!

President Donald J. Trump Signs H.J.Res. 69, H.J.Res. 83, H.R. 1228, S.J.Res. 34 into Law

But what does that mean?

Reading through the press release as seen at www.whitehouse.gov there are 4 items that were signed into law.

“H.J.Res. 69, which nullifies the Department of the Interior’s Fish and Wildlife Service’s final rule relating to non-subsistence takings of wildlife on National Wildlife Refuges in Alaska;”

This means that people can now remove dead animals from National Wildlife Refuges in Alaska. Doesn’t seem like a huge deal but when you consider decomposition in an ecosystem it quite possibly may have negative effects.

“H.J.Res. 83, which nullifies the Department of Labor’s rule titled Clarification of Employer’s Continuing Obligation to Make and Maintain an Accurate Record of Each Recordable Injury and Illness; and”

This statement above says employers no longer have to keep accurate records of on the job injuries or illnesses. Stop and think about this release and think about it. Seems harmless if you are an office worker with a paper cut but lets think a little harder. How about factory workers in the past that were exposed to asbestos? What about chemical plants that are not following safety protocol and workers suddenly are calling in sick for days at a time. If these cases gone undocumented it is possible that there would be no legal recourse for workers because of lack of evidence.

“H.R. 1228, which provides for the appointment of members of the Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance to replace members whose terms expire during March and May of 2017; and”

Here The Whitehouse is saying that the Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance terms are coming to an end and new members need to be appointed. Nothing too fancy about that.

Now this next one is the cherry!

Kiss Your Privacy Goodbye

“S.J.Res. 34 – which nullifies the Federal Communications Commission’s rule on privacy of customers of broadband and other telecommunications services.”

In 2016 the Federal Communications Commission’s rule on privacy of customers of broadband and other telecommunications services was signed into law. This law was to prevent ISP’s from sharing your information on service plan, app usage as well as browsing history, even your email address, to 3rd party companies. Had the law not been overturned your ISP would have to have you opt-in to share this information however since April 3rd 2017 they no longer have to have your consent. Your information has a break down by the FCC of sensitive and non-sensitive.
Service plan, app usage, browsing history and your email address are considered non-sensitive information.
Ultimately your ISP feels that non-sensitive information should be able to be used at their discretion without you having to opt in … and with this nullification they have it.

Texas News Is Bigger Than Trump

National Guard Rescues Houston Flood Victims

Texas News Is Bigger Than Trump

In the midst of Hurricane Harvey President Trump paid the underwater wasteland a visit to commend local officials on their “epic” reactions to the over 15 Trillion gallons of water that has poured down on the city and surrounding suburbs. There is so much water in fact that portions of Louisiana have been effected by the deluge.

While the water continues to invade Texas residents homes and businesses spirits seem somewhat lifted when Trump said “Texas can handle anything!” giving displaced families in nearby Corpus Christi home that the flood waters will recede soon.

Social Media outlets have been booming too commending and criticizing how Americans far and wide have been reacting to the floods. Small teams of Americans with boats, large trucks and Jeeps have been posting requesting trapped civilians reply with their location and they will come to help. So far over 3500 people have been rescued from the entrapment of the Texas Floods. There was even a caravan of American Civilians that rounded up their trailers and motor homes to provide as much relief as possible to the displaced Houston population. These are the commended Social Media posts. In other words … Texas News is Bigger Than Trump!

Mega Church Denies Proactive Help

Huge criticism came when Joel Olsteen of the Lakewood Christian Church did not proactively address the needs of the community by opening his almost 17,000 seat mega-church to those in need. Only after intense scrutiny did the Church and Olsteen react by saying “when all the emergency shelters are filled we will open the church’. Further scrutiny came from neighboring religious houses which stated that they were accepting any displaced Texans immediately and without question of faith. Since the negative outcry Lakewood Christian Church has not disclosed how many flood victims it has taken in however information has leaked that the Church was preparing accommodations such as food and air mattresses for those in need during the backlash.

Texas Flood Aftermath

The effect of Hurricane Harvey will last for quite some time even after the flood waters subside. The rains are expected to continue for another few days with flash flooding in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and even up into Missouri. News outlets are doing all they can to keep the neighboring state posted on the storm status and issuing warnings as necessary. The estimated dollars in damage have not yet been disclosed but it is guaranteed to be in the Trillions. It is estimated that 80% of Hurricane Harvey flood victims do not have flood insurance leaving majority of flood victims to bear the financial burden of rebuilding. Since flood insurance is a separate policy from homeowners time will tell if relief funding will come from the Government and to what extent.

In closing our hearts and prayers go out to those who have been displaced by the largest Act Of God to hit Texas in over 100 years. If you would like to donate, here are some links.

The Power of Satire

American Freedom Of Political Humor

The Power of Satire

Most Americans don’t recognize how lucky they are to be living in a free country where they can make jokes about their leaders. The power of satire shows when entire TV stations and various media outlets are solely dedicated to making fun of presidents. It is something that never happened and probably will never occur in any other country on earth. Even laws are set in place to prevent prosecution of any media personality who would mock the president. Everybody is welcome to say whatever they want, and no one could force them into silence.
The crucial role that satire plays in the political scene is its ability to humanize those who are in power, so it is easier to stand against them. In some way, satire brings down influential political figures to the level of everyday people. Therefore, those leaders are no longer god-like people who live in ivory towers, after all, they are just public servants albeit with tremendous amount of power.

What these “public servants” don’t understand is that their power comes with a lot of responsibility. It is not much of a privilege, but they must be prepared for heaps of criticism all the time because they are elected to do a certain job. In many countries in the third-world, and it looks like America has caught the flu, people who come to power think it is a privilege, and they insist that people must love, respect, and fear them. Satire is the complete opposite; it’s on a mission to expose that fake respect. It downplays that air of fear, it pisses them off and they hate it for doing that to them.

The Rise and fall of Bassem Youssef

In countries like Egypt, mocking the leaders is not just forbidden, but it is outright blasphemy. Sure, those leaders are supposedly “democratic,” they encourage free speech. However, that’s all just an outer layer hiding a much more horrible reality.
In Egypt, there is always a limit to satire. Nobody has ever managed to cross that limit because they either end up in jail or worse, killed. Nobody can really make jokes about Egyptian leaders, those who dare will be harassed by the government into submission or just flee the country altogether. Like Dr. Bassem Youssef who is considered the “Jon Stewart of Egypt,” the host of the most popular TV show in the history of the Arab world.

He started with a satirical YouTube channel during the Egyptian revolution of 2011. Just at the beginning of the Egyptian revolution of 2011 and the Arab Spring broke out, Youssef fiercely satirized the Islamists and the military which took power and his show ignited. Around 30 million of viewers waited for his TV show every week to watch him satirize the cosmic conspiracy on Egypt.

Bassem’s detractors belittled and ridiculed him, but the joke was on them all along. Ultimately, Youssef was censored and forced to flee Egypt. His collapse was triggered by a segment mocking Islamist president Mohamed Morsi’s hat in 2013. In March, a warrant was issued for his arrest because he insulted the president and Islam because, of course, the president is the representative of Allah on earth. Islamists cannot handle criticism; it is not in their playbook. They are hiding behind a religious ideology that demands strict submission and obedience.

Political Intolerance

Youssef turned himself in as he already knew it was just a matter of time, the funny thing is that prosecutors and security forces were his fans, taking selfies with him as he went willingly to the public prosecutor’s office. However, Bassem was released on bail, but his days were numbered because just three months later, the military removed and jailed president Morsi, deactivated the constitution, and enforced martial law.

He found it hard to continue his show, with the new regime taking over. In Egypt, the military is even more sacred than religion, more sacred than Mother Egypt herself. He wanted to stop the show but decided to go on with it as his fans supported him. However, it didn’t last long; he was crippled by a flood of lawsuits and abusive legal verdicts. The final blow arrived in the form of a whopping 100 million EGP fine, the largest penalty in the history of Egyptian media. He had to flee before he is jailed and put on no-fly list.

It’s all about the People

In third-world countries, whether it is under the military or religious rule the leaders are put on a pedestal. They are equated with God, religion, and homeland. Their pictures are put on everything and everywhere, the national media praise and portray them as saviors, and the thought of rebelling is bombarded by a general sense of futility. A futility that nothing make a difference, and all you can do is submit to the status quo.

It is up to the people to take the power of satire beyond the theater and TV set and translate into action in the real world. While satire is the most powerful antidote against dictatorship, if people don’t act then it remains just a healthy exercise of blowing steam. Satire, alone, is not potent enough to make a change. Of course, it can funnily expose the truth, but ultimately, the change comes from people taking action.

American Political Comedy

Finally, people in America are lucky because their leaders can take a joke. There’s a difference between waging war against satire and comedy that is not ill-intentioned. You only need to look at the recent case of Kathy Griffin to get the point. With all that said, there are still barriers to bring down, and more jokes to be told. Because people just need to lighten up.
Today, the authoritarian threat in America is quickly becoming a reality and one of the best ways to fight it is making fun of it through the power of satire. That’s what makes America different than any other country on earth, you can laugh at your leader, and it is something to be proud of.

Trumps Second Trip To The EU and Russia

President Trump and Vladimir Putin At The 2017 Hamburg G 20 Summit

Trumps Second Trip To The EU and Russia

President Donald Trump returned from his overseas trip to Europe. This was Trumps Second Trip To The EU and Russia.
The trip was full of action. He flew to Warsaw, Poland and gave “a major speech,” and met Polish and Baltic leaders. He then headed to Hamburg, Germany, to attend the G20 meeting.
Here are the highlights of the trip.

1. Trump and Putin first meeting.

The peak of the trip. For the first time since he won the election, Trump sat in one room with Putin. Trump and Putin discussed several issues. Most notably the allegations that Russia hacked the 2016 election in Trump’s favor.
Putin and his foreign minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Trump agreed with Russia’s dismissing it as “fake news.” They said that Trump told them some in the U.S. had “exaggerated” Russia’s ability.
U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson who was present at the meeting said the meeting was all about how the two nations can cooperate.
However, White House officials stated that Russia’s translation of Trump’s “agreement” was not accurate. Maybe the two translators who were present misinterpreted Trump’s meaning.

2. Trump’s Speech in Warsaw’s symbolic Krasinski Square.

He gave his speech before an eager, friendly crowd who were listening to every word he said. This speech was an appetizer for the next-day G20 summit.
In the speech, the president bluntly criticized the two former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush. He also blamed the U.S. intelligence community, deviating from years of tradition.
Overall, the tone of the speech was about survival of the Western civilization, and the challenges it is facing.

3. At the G20 Summit.

Trump refused to change his position on U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and new French President Emmanuel Macron were sour about his decision.
A brief incident occurred when Ivanka Trump took her father’s seat, while he was conducting a bilateral meeting with the Indonesian president. The event started a debate on social media when one of the Russian delegation posted about it on Twitter. However, the photo was quickly deleted.
At the end of the meeting, 19 nations signed the ‘irreversible’ agreement, leaving the U.S. isolated. The U.S. President, it seems, wanted to fundamentally transform the agreement in U.S. favor, but it didn’t work out for him. The pact was signed and sealed.
However, he left a backdoor for himself if he changed his mind in the future, which is unlikely. In short, Trump is Trump, and the trip didn’t make any difference.

Finally…

Trump agreed to fund the United Nations’ World Food Programme with $639 million to help famine and drought-stricken countries like Yemen, South Sudan, and Somalia. Furthermore, he promised $50 million to the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative, a World Bank fund aimed at helping women find investors, training, and putting new policies.
These efforts might paint America as a world leader again after the international community was shocked by America’s pulling out from the Paris Accord.

On a final note, Trump was greeted by and sent off by violent anti-capitalist protests that flooded the streets of Hamburg. As always, he used Twitter to thank the security forces which contained the protests, to some extent.

Strength And The Presidency

Grover Cleveland President That Hid Surgery

Strength And The Presidency

How do strength and the Presidency go together? It is hard to imagine The President Of The United States Of America in anything other than good health. After all they are the figurehead of the greatest nation on earth today. The POTUS has access to the best doctors, the most advanced medical techniques and an almost unlimited proactive healthcare budget. When is the last time you heard of The President having something so small as a common cold? Can’t think of one. Lets be serious for a moment, The President is a human being just like you and I. President Reagan had some issues in the 80’s but that was quickly swept under the rug, in typical US political hush hush manner, and he went on to complete a his 2 term Presidency successfully.

In recent years President Grover Cleveland’s oral cancer tumor has been spotlighted in the media. On display at the Mütter Museum of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia but this is just one of the many US Presidents whom have had medical issues while in office. Wilson, Roosevelt and even Kennedy had medical ailments while in office that were not openly discussed.

Looking Deeper

What are the implications of coming forward with medical issues of The President Of The United States?

Most importantly the view of The Nation in the eyes of the world. Being a world super power leaked information on unhealthy American leader can give countries around the world an opinion that America itself is weak. Almost as if The President is the spokesperson for the health of the US. While the health of one person absolutely does not implicate the health of the nation it is easy to see how general populous abroad can come to that conclusion. Especially in the case of global summits such as G20. Can you imagine what would happen to the popular opinion if the US President himself did not attend?

Public Opinion

Secondly, the US general public. With a President in poor health the economy and overall moral will suffer. This was the main reason cited by Grover Cleveland to have his tumor removed out of the public eye. Part of The Presidents job is to keep moral of the people in check. You can think of it like children to a parent. When your mom or dad gets sick, how do you react? You are pre-occupied. You may find it hard to focus, be late to work and not preform to you best ability. This mental pre-occupation will have negative economic effects which will be nationwide.

Military Moral

Lastly, our military. As Commander-In-Chief our military looks to him as top rank over every NCO or Officer in rank. Even higher than the Secretary Of Defense of which he appointed. Our military is physically and mentally strong and ready to deploy at a moments notice. There is no question. However will the rest of the world know that? Would a President in ill health signal an open door to test our military might? I sincerely doubt it.

This is an article with personal opinion. I invite you to leave yours below in the comments section. How would knowing your President is ill effect your daily goings on?
